I recently saw photos and video of Japanese killing dolphins in Taiji, Japan and I feel very upset, sad and angry that you are killing my friends. I am a surfer and feel joy and excitement when ever I am joined in the surf by dolphins and whales. To see Japanese fishermen butchering these beautiful animals makes me think the Japanese people who do this must not have feelings or a heart. Dolphins and whales are intelligent, feeling beings, like us, they are NOT big fish. Please treat them with the respect they deserve and let them swim free in the sea.
I am also very upset at Japans plan to kill 50 Australian Humpback whales and 1000 other whales in the Antarctic. I am about to do an East coast tour in Australia and I will be letting many people and media know about your barbaric actions against our cetacean friends. Please stop. You can see the images people think of when they think about Japan on my website http://www.flightofthehumpback.org It cant be good for Japans global image.
